As Prince Harry gears up for a UK trip it’s been revealed that his wife Meghan, 42, faces a “losing battle” in any attempt to block a family reconciliation.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is believed to be planning a trip to Britain to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his passion project the Invictus Games.

But a source claims that the potential for Harry to reach out to brother Prince William and sister-in-law Princess Kate is causing Duchess Meghan concern – saying she’s facing a “losing battle”.

The source said: “Meghan knows she is facing a losing battle when it comes to Harry reaching out to Kate and William to try and sort through their differences, but she thinks he’s making a big mistake,” reports OK!.

They added: “She obviously feels sympathy for Kate and what she’s going through, but in her mind, it doesn’t change things.”

Harry’s reported desire to reconnect with his estranged brother and sister-in-law comes after Princess Kate revealed to the world that she is battling cancer.

His father King Charles is also undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes that their respective health woes could be the “gamechanger” when it comes to a possible make up between the brothers.

He said: “With Catherine and the King’s illness — that is an enormous game changer even when there are deep family rifts.”

The fallout between Prince Harry and key members of the Royal Family came after his and wife Meghan’s decision to talk publicly about family issues on a tell-all Oprah Winfrey interview as well as in the Duke’s memoir Spare and on their Netflix docu-series.
