This NFL season holds the potential to be a historic one, particularly for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. With the first-ever three-peat in sight, the Chiefs once again find themselves as favorites to claim the Vince Lombardi Trophy, a position they’ve held since Mahomes became the starting quarterback in 2018.

They have won two consecutive Super Bowls and three out of the last four, establishing a dominant presence in the league.

Much of the team’s success can be attributed to Mahomes, but the offensive support has been crucial in turning the Chiefs into a dynasty.

Among the key players, Travis Kelce and former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill, now with the Miami Dolphins, have been pivotal. Hill, coming off a remarkable year, revealed on the podcast “The Dive Bar” that he has always been a fan of the Dolphins.

“I’ve always been a fan of the Dolphins,” Hill said. “Whenever we played Madden, I used to trade myself to the Dolphins off the Chiefs.” It appears he hinted at the trade that took place in 2022 between the Chiefs and Dolphins.

During their four years together,Hill and Mahomes achieved over 1,200 yards in three seasons-only falling short in 2019 when Hill played just 12 games-along with 43 touchdowns and over 85 receptions per season. Their most memorable play was in Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers, where a crucial 44-yard pass on 3rd-and-15 with 7:13 left in the game helped secure the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl victory since 1969.
