Brittany Williams has explained her surprising reaction to Josh Allen’s engagement announcement with a bit of a cliche.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback is now set to marry actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, sharing as much in an Instagram post this Friday.

Williams, who was with Allen for around six years before they broke up in 2023, appeared to respond to an IG user who called her by asking whether she’d found her next pro athlete, making claims of moving on to a team owner.

Brittany Williams Has Since Claimed Her Account was Hacked

Williams has explained the odd comment, revealing her accounts were hacked on multiple occasions and asking for help.

“My accounts have been hacked several times tonight,” she wrote on her story. “Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please lmk.”

“That’s the angle she decided to go with? Lol wild,” someone laughed.

“Her NDA from the breakup must be in jeopardy,” said another.

“The hacked account excuse never works,” a third added.

“It’s better that way. Put it to rest and pretend like she didn’t say it. I’m sure she regrets it,” someone else wrote. “She doesn’t need accountability she just needs to go away and let the drama die down.”

Safe to say, social media doesn’t believe her…
