Yet despite being busy putting the finishing touches to his emotive routine with his Strictly professional partner Jowita Przystal, 30, Pete made sure to message his close pal and podcast host Sam, 32, ahead of his flight to Australia.

Sam – who was crowned last year’s I’m A Celeb jungle King – is jetting Down Under to front the ITV series’ spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity Unpacked.

Talking on Good Morning Britain in October, the jungle alum confirmed The Sun’s exclusive story revealing the Extra Camp comeback for the upcoming season.

He will be joined by DJ Kemi Rogers and former jungle star Joel Dommett.

Prior to jetting off, Pete messaged Sam in a sweet message the Made In Chelsea alum has now shared on Instagram.

It read: “Mate have a safe flight.

“Let me know when you land.

“Anything you need me to do while you’re away with your sister, mum, Zara or whatever just let me know and it’s done.

“Love you man.”

He then added the phrase: “Go smash the f**king c*** out of Oz again,” and a black Emoji love heart icon

Sam – who was on the long-haul flight while Pete scooped a 36 for his routine – then told how he finally managed to get some wifi.

In an equally emotional message, the cheeky chap shared a picture showing him with Pete and a sweet caption.

He wrote: “Posting this from the sky but I managed to get a slither of WIFI.

“I think/hope you’ve seen tonight on strictly the kind of guy my best mate is

“That dance meant everything to him your nan would be so proud mate and putting yourself out there like that takes so much guts.

“I am so proud of you sir, and if you want to see the measure of the man look at the next slide.

“Stressed and emotional about his dance but always there to help out my family whilst I’m away. For lack of a better term Pete…‘You’re simply the best’

“Please get voting for Peter Johnathan Joseph wicks!!! The competition needs him to stay in!!!”

Sam made his voting plea just hours before a spoiler revealed the outcome of the Week Eight results show.

The Sun has chosen to keep the outcome secret so as not to ruin the outcome for those watching tonight – yet it remains to be seen if Pete will keep his place and progress to the Blackpool Special.

Meanwhile, Sam and Pete’s friendship began in 2019 when the pair met on Celebs Go Dating

Pete was then on-hand to support Sam during his jungle stint in 2023.

The pair, who are sometimes confused for brothers, also front their podcast Staying Relevant together.
