Las Vegas is synonymous with fun for people in the United States and around the world. The team has not been good since being in town, but things started to change during the latter part of last season.

Antonio Pierce stepped in as interim head coach and it was clear who needed to be the head coach.

Pierce, a nine-year NFL veteran player, and a former Super Bowl Champion, team captain, and Pro Bowl selection posted a 5-4 record in nine games after the team fired Josh McDaniels. The players responded to him and Mark Davis made the right decision.

Now, the team needs to nail a quarterback after the Jimmy G experiment did not work out.

The Bears have the No. 1 pick and will be able to draft the best quarterback prospect so it appears Justin Fields will be on the outside looking in. The team cannot afford to pass on the chance to add Caleb Williams or Drake Maye after they already missed out on grabbing CJ Stroud last year.

With the No. 13 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, many of the top quarterback options will be off the board for the Raiders, so a move is needed.

A bold trade proposal sends Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields to the Las Vegas Raiders.

CBS Sports pitched a trade that sent Fields and a sixth-round pick to the Raiders and then detailed what the Bears would get in return.
“No. 77 overall (third-round pick), 2025 third-round pick that becomes a second-round pick if Fields plays 75% of the snaps and becomes a first-round pick if the Raiders make the playoffs in 2025,” Trapasso wrote in a January 25 mock draft.
If Fields didn’t work out, the Raiders would only be risking two third-round picks. Fields might need a change of scenery and a new head coach to finally un-tap his potential.

As soon as Pierce replaced Josh McDaniels midseason, he benched Garoppolo in favor of O’Connell. He then threw 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions and averaged 201.6 yards per game in his 11-game appearances.

Fields threw for 2,562 yards and 16 touchdowns against nine interceptions while adding 657 rushing yards and four scores on the ground.
