Molly-Mae Hague Shocked by Ex-Fiancé Tommy Fury’s Brutal Comment on Their Daughter Bambi’s Birth: ‘I Don’t Like Having a Daughter!’
Molly-Mae Hague was left in complete shock over a blunt comment her ‘cheating’ ex-fiancé Tommy Fury made before their daughter Bambi was born.
The influencer and boxer, 25, who share Bambi, 20 months, shocked fans last week when Molly-Mae announced on social media that they had split.
Tommy has since been at the centre of cheating claims and has been accused of sending ‘flirty messages’ to another woman after a night out in Manchester.
In a resurfaced clip from Tyson Fury’s Netflix show At Home With The Furys, the estranged couple shared their nerves ahead of welcoming a baby girl.
But as Molly-Mae questioned Tommy if he would have preferred a baby boy, Tommy’s shocking response had her jaw on the floor.
Molly-Mae interjected: ‘Whattt?’
Tommy added: ‘To have a son to take to the boxing gym and hold the pads for him. He can hit my hands. But…’
Molly-Mae said: ‘What’s not ideal about a girl?’
Trying to justify his statement, Tommy added: ‘There’s nothing not ideal about a girl.
‘I’m just saying. Although, I wouldn’t push her into boxing, because getting punched in the face for a living…’
Molly-Mae added: ‘It’s not that fun, is it? It’s not a very smart way to make a living.’
At the time, viewers feared the slight clash was looming trouble for the couple – after they also argued about how Bambi would be bought up.
A source said: ‘Problems had been growing for a while. Increasingly, it seemed like they were living two very different lifestyles.’
On August 7, just seven days before their split, Molly-Mae posted a YouTube video in which she said she had been ‘struggling’ and ‘solo parenting’ Bambi.
In a candid video posted on social media the Love Island star said she had spent weeks looking after their daughter Bambi on her own while her fiancé was working elsewhere.
In the clip, Molly-Mae explained Tommy had been predominantly absent from their family home while he was recording his audiobook.
She said: ‘Actually I’ve been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy’s just been so busy.
‘When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifing.’
Since the pair’s split Molly has been pushing aside her feelings in order to prioritise daughter Bambi’s wellbeing.
MailOnline understands that the reality star is paying it no attention to all the drama and has been pushing her thoughts and feelings about Tommy aside to focus on her daughter.
