Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been having a positive offseason on the field, having impressed during the team’s activities ahead of training camp.
However, things aren’t as great off it.
The wideout has found himself in serious trouble with the law, which could cost him a chunk of playing time next season. He is expected to be suspended for his part in an accident he caused in Dallas earlier this year.
Rice and his pals were apparently racing when they caused a pileup involving multiple vehicles. To make things worse, they left their cars and fled the scene, prompting a search by law enforcement.

Rashee Rice Could Get Hit With A Significant Suspension
The Chiefs’ most productive wide receiver last season, the team would hope to have Rice at his best if they are to challenge for a third-straight Super Bowl win. According to a rumor shared by the NFL Notifications account on X/Twitter, they might not have him available for much of the campaign, as he could miss 12 games.

If that were to happen, Rashee Rice would only be available for five games next season, and the Chiefs could be worse off for it.
Still, Travis Kelce would be available as long as he’s healthy. The AFC outfit has also acquired top receiving potential in Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, having also drafted speedy wideout Xavier Worthy after he blew folks away at the combine.
Of course, the above should be treated as a rumor for now, but Rice’s legal troubles are very likely to earn him a ban from the league. It’s just a matter of how many games.
