Former Strictly Come Dancing star Max George has been rushed to hospital after suffering with “some issues with his heart”.
On Wednesday (December 11), the Wanted singer admitted he suddenly started feeling unwell, which only worsened throughout the day.
Today (December 12), the 36-year-old hitmaker finally sought medical assistance and took to Instagram to share a health update with his loyal legion of fans online.
Despite being unwell, the musician put on a brave face as he smiled to the camera and held up a thumbs up while wearing a hospital gown.
He captioned the post: “Hey everyone. Yesterday I felt really unwell and was taken in to hospital. Unfortunately after some tests they’ve found that I have some issues with my heart.”

He shared the worrying update online
He went on: “I have a lot more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to get me back on my feet.”
Max went on to reveal that he would be spending Christmas in hospital this year, but he was grateful for the support from his doting girlfriend and his famuly.
The Chasing The Sun hitmaker added: “It’s gonna be a difficult few weeks / months… and Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t exactly what I had planned!
“But, as always, I’m surrounded with love and support by my wonderful partner Maisie, her family, my family and friends.. and I’m 100% in the best place.
“Although this is a huge shock and no doubt a set back, it’s something I’ll take on with all I’ve got! I count myself very lucky that this was caught when it was.
“Apologies if I bore you with updates in the coming weeks..I’ve probably got a month in a bed and there’s not THAT much to do! [cry-laughing emoji] Let’s do this! [rock on emoji]. Much love, Max.”
It didn’t take long before his famous friends and loyal legion of fans flooded to the comments to pass on their well wishes online. This Morning presenter Charlotte Hawkins penned: “Oh my goodness hope all OK & you’re back on your feet soon.”
Another user penned: “Oh gosh Max sending you all the love, hope you feel much better soon. Strongest person I know, hoping you recover very soon [heart emoji].”
A third echoed: “Get well soon Max [heart emoji] Sending you all the love from us in North Wales.”
