BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell took to the dance floor to perform an emotional routine for the semi-final.
Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell dazzled BBC audiences with their semi-final performances on Strictly Come Dancing, continuing their streak as fan favourites since the show’s launch in September.
The dynamic duo has overcome stiff competition and now stands on the brink of the grand finale, where they could potentially be crowned the new Glitterball champions.
Emotions ran high when pro dancer Dianne Buswell was brought to tears following their second act of the night, which came after a Charleston to When You’re Smiling by The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn.
Their evening culminated with a Viennese Waltz set to the unlikely tune of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters, blending heavy metal with classic ballroom elegance.
Post-performance, an emotional Buswell hugged Chris, telling him: “I’m so proud of you.”

Despite a less favourable critique of their initial dance, Craig Revel Horwood was moved, saying: “Magical darling, very emotional.”
