Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has talked about her on-stage behaviour with Chris McCausland.
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has defended her behaviour on stage with celebrity partner Chris McCausland after fans spotted a problem at the end of their latest dance.
Blind comedian Chris McCausland has made it to the semi-final of the hit BBC dance show this weekend after flying through the popular vote once again despite a slightly patchier score of 32 last week, while Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe were sent home, just missing out on the penultimate episode of the series.
Taking to the Strictly It Takes Two sofa on Tuesday night, host Fleur East showed Dianne and Chris a clip of the end of their dance, and the intense reaction from Dianne Buswell which fans had commented on online.

Fleur said to her: “Dianne, when the performance ended, your reaction was really quite something, here’s a reminder.”
Dianne was then seen screaming at the top of her lungs in the clip and jumping up and down punching the air.
Chris, laughing, said ‘Had I stood on your toe?’.”
Dianne then replied: “I saw someone online say that I sounded a bit like a seagull and watching that back, yes I did sound a bit like a seagull.
“But I just get so proud, and for me that was one of Chris’ best dances, and it just felt…I felt like a professional dancer dancing with another professional and I enjoyed it so much.
“So I do, I get really proud, I’ve seen how he comes on from Monday to then perform it on a Saturday, my mind is blown every single week. So yeah I do act like that because I take in the moment and I’m really proud of him.”
The pair will this week be dancing twice in the semi-final on Saturday, a Charleston and a Viennese waltz, including to Nothing Else Matters by rock legends Metallica.

Fans are still thrilled with the pair and are hoping to see them make the final.
@ryanthesoapking said; “#ItTakesTwo #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing Chris may not be the best dancer but that doesn’t matter for me. His footwork is the best in the competition the speed was amazing. He adapted well with the backing dancers once again. His timing muscality and character was brilliant too.
“Not my cup of tea from a song perspective but this is Chris’s favourite genre of music so he should do well. He’s also come on leaps and bounds in his ballroom so this is a chance for Chris to show off everything he’s learnt with Dianne in ballroom across 11 weeks.”
