Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur has hit back at Keir Starmer’s plan to send British troops to Ukraine as part of a peace deal.
Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur has issued a scathing response to prime minister Keir Starmer’s offer to send British troops to secure peace in Ukraine.
Writing in The Telegraph, the politician said the UK is “ready to play a leading role” in Ukraine’s defence and security, including committing £3bn a year until 2030.
Sir Keir said that in addition to military aid, “it also means being ready and willing to contribute to security guarantees to Ukraine by putting our own troops on the ground if necessary”.
During an ITV discussion, GMB hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Richard Madeley questioned health secretary Wes Streeting about the concerns. Taking to social media, Narinder reposted the interview and claimed “there’s no winning” for the prime minister.
After defending Sir Keir in her posts, she was asked: “Will your son be going?”
To which Narinder confirmed: “No. He will never fight for Britain after the racial riots back in August.”
In a separate post, she explained: “Lots asking whether I’d send my 19yo son to fight for Britain in a war.
“Hell NO. My son will never fight for Britain after he saw the race riots last August. He knows he isn’t wanted. (Previously, he would have).”
Narinder is seemingly referring to the far-right riots which spread across the UK last year and were sparked by a wave of misinformation after three innocent children were killed in a stabbing attack in Southport.

However, 17-year-old Axel Muganwa Rudakubana from Banks, Lancashire, has since been convicted of the murders and attempted murders.
On X, Narinder continued to defend her decision after she was accused of wanting “everybody else’s kids going to war”.
She hit back: “Do keep up, I’ve done countless tweets saying no working class should be used in war. Politicians can send their own kids.”
