While Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are both making their long-awaited debut in the MCU, it seems that the fans still want more from Deadpool & Wolverine. One name in particular has sparked a lot of casting whispers and theories: Taylor Swift.

The pop icon found herself linked to the role of Dazzler, a mutant pop star in the X-Men universe. This potential pairing feels oddly perfect. Dazzler’s ability to convert sound into light blasts poetically aligns with the power of Swift’s words. It’d be like watching Swift as a superhero version of herself.

The rumors of Swift’s involvement in the new movie reached a peak when she was spotted attending an NFL regular season game with Reynolds and Jackman. Further, the timing coincided with when Deadpool 3 was going through some reshoots, which could have been a way to get Swift in the movie.

To take things a bit back in time, fans had noticed that the teaser of the movie was at a location that matched one in Taylor Swift’s All Too Well: A Short Film. Further, a few months ago, Deadpool’s Australia Instagram handle posted a photo of three friendship bracelets, the signature item of Swifties.

Taylor Swift seems to have struck gold again with her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.  Including the anthology album, it consists of 31 tracks lasting a combined 122 minutes of Swift’s brilliance. Released on April 19, 2024, her 11th studio album, as expected, has been met with critical acclaim and enthusiastic fan reception.

Spotify revealed that the album is the most pre-saved one in the history of the platform. Further, it is the fourth album by a female superstar to have more than 100 Million streams within 24 hours. Guess what, all these four albums are by Swift, including Midnights, which is the most streamed in a single day at 184 Million.

It will soon be known whether or not the new album breaks this number. Nonetheless, the critical review for the album has been really great as it was rated five-star by Rolling Stone and currently has a 90 percent score on Metacritic.
