THIS Morning star Jeff Brazier has turned down a spot on Strictly Come Dancing as he revealed why he’s avoiding going on the show.

The TV presenter, who hosts the competitions on This Morning, said he’s been approached for the fan favourite show before.

His son Bobby, 21, impressed the nation on the dancefloor last year and reached the final with Dianne Buswell in December.

And his proud dad admitted he didn’t want to take the shine off Bobby’s success.

He said there was only one dancer in the family for now, telling The Sun: “Bobby’s been there, it’s his thing.

“I feel like to step into that world would almost be to sort of steal his thunder slightly.

“That was Bob’s thing and I want to leave it to him.”

Jeff continued: “I’ve got plenty of things that I really enjoy doing, I’ve got lots of exciting projects moving forward and I’ll stay in my lane, I think.

 

 

“But I don’t think that going on Strictly would be right for me right now.”

Jeff, 45, and Strictly star Bobby already appear on Gogglebox together and are loved for their hilarious banter and witty comments.

The TV presenter, who is also dad to Freddie, 19, has revealed that one of their conversations was so shocking that it probably won’t make the cut.

Jeff revealed: “Oh, my God, I mean, it might not air and I wouldn’t want to say it, but, yeah, it was a little bit wild and it was, yeah, something I won’t repeat.

“I was like, “Really?! I think your kids always shock you, especially when you’ve got young boys, young men, should I say.

“But, every now and again, they just sort of drop something in and they’ll be like, “Guess what I did last night?

“And you’re always like, “Oh, really? OK, maybe I didn’t want to know. But it’s good he feels he can tell me anything.”

Without not giving away too much away about the conversation that they were having, he explained: “There was something to do with MILFS.”

Jeff added: “This is actually the subject that brought us on to the thing that I won’t mention.”
