This Morning’s Eva Speakman has defended husband Nik’s changing face after cruel trolls criticised his new appearance.
The pair, who are collectively known as The Speakmans, are life-change experts who help others with mental health problems, trauma and phobias.
Eva, 55, was forced to hit back at a harsh troll, who rudely claimed Nik, 63, should ‘stop with the filler’, which she insisted his new appearance was due to steroids.
After they posted a slew of snaps on Instagram last week, the harsh troll wrote in the comments: ‘Nice couple but tell your husband to stop with the filler’.
Eva hit back: ‘Please don’t be judgemental. He’s on steroids & can’t help the effect.’
The caption read: ‘A lovely start to this week on @thismorning helping to brighten up your Blue Monday. We hope everyone’s had a fabulous week, and is looking forward to a fun weekend ahead ☺️’

This Morning’s Eva Speakman, 55, has defended 63-year-old husband Nik’s changing face after cruel trolls criticised his new appearance
Eva was forced to hit back at a harsh troll, who rudely claimed Nik should ‘stop with the filler’, which she insisted his new appearance was due to steroids
Defending Eva and Nik following the troll’s disgusting message, fans wrote: ‘Disgusting comment. Do better he is clearly on steroids. I’ve had the same happen when I was on them’,
‘People can be cruel I am on steroids so I know the feeling when people judge’,
‘Clearly a steroid side effect, my mum had exactly the same. Such a mean comment to make’,
‘Why do some people constantly have to be rude and judgmental. Great show, great people who give great advice ❤️’.
Last year, Eva detailed the difficulties she faced at the hands of trolls when she and husband Nik became regular faces on This Morning.
Speaking on the My Dirty Laundry podcast, Eva revealed she was attacked by cruel trolls when she appeared on the show.
It was especially hurtful because Eva had suffered a lifetime of bullying before becoming a household name.
She said: ‘We have really had our fair share of trolling and at first, I’m not going to lie… particularly when we first started working in television, I found it quite difficult.

‘I was somebody that was bullied through my entire childhood, even up until I met Nik, actually.
‘And so I’d gone from that and then Nik kind of came rescued me, helped me to build up my self-esteem again and self-belief.
‘Then suddenly these strangers were saying really mean and horrible things. And so I did have to sit back a little bit and say, “Does this really matter? Is this person’s opinion really valid? What’s my motive on being in the media?”
‘It’s to help people. Am I doing that? Yes.’
Eva said that with Nik’s help, she quickly found a way to stop the trolling getting to her.
She said: ‘We just very quickly got into the habit of just blocking. And that would be what I would say to anybody. Don’t even take the bait. Just block and just move on because they’re not really very relevant people.
‘Anybody who feels that it’s appropriate to be unkind to anyone, quite honestly, isn’t worth any time at all. So just block immediately.’
Eva and Nik have previously used their expertise to cure former This Morning host Holly Willoughby of her fear of ghosts, as well as her fear of flying.

Life-change experts Eva and Nik once cured former This Morning host Holly Willoughby of her fear of ghosts, as well as her fear of flying
They said: ‘Holly was having to fly out the following week to help present I’m A Celeb so we were able to help her out with that which was nice.
‘Her fear came from presenting a kids’ TV show. She had to go up in a plane and the pilot who was with her – it was just a two seater – stalled the engine on purpose/
‘And she just thought the plane was going down. And then he just said, “we do this, it’s a test that we do” and he restarted it, everything was OK.
‘But in that moment and her not knowing, she just developed a fear of flying. And we worked with her for that.’
The Speakmans said their treatment was so successful that Holly even sent them a picture of herself giving a thumbs up from her flight the week after they treated her.
