Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs players on field (Photo via Twitter)
The Denver Broncos had the Kansas City Chiefs beat on Sunday, but a last-second 35-yard field goal by Wil Lutz made everything go bad for them quickly.
It would have been the Chiefs’ first loss of the season and one piece of video shows it.
An illegal contact penalty on Brandon Jones before halftime wiped out a Nik Bonitto sack and allowed the Chiefs to extend their drive. Rather than holding a 14-3 lead and getting the ball back, the Broncos led 14-10.
That moment paved the way for what happened during the remainder of the game.
During an all-footage look of that play, it shows just how much refs screwed the Denver Broncos out of that game with a call that never existed.
The Denver Broncos were called for a penalty fans were right upset about, and CBS must’ve known it was bad because they didn’t show the replay.

The Chiefs have been involved in many close games so far this season, and mostly, all of them have involved some type of controversy that has benefited them in the end.

Instead of making the correct call, the Chiefs got to 9-0 on the year, and the Denver Broncos fell to 5-5.
The Denver Broncos Could’ve Made Some Real Noise By Defeating The Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes completed 28 of 42 passes for 266 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and added three carries for 19 yards.
However, he went without a score in the second half as the Denver Broncos defense stepped up big time.
That potential victory could’ve not only put them two games above .500, but it would’ve sent shockwaves across the league.
