The New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers meet on Sunday Night Football for their Week 7 matchup, featuring recently acquired wide receiver Davante Adams for New York.

Of course, whenever a team gets a new player from a trade, they want to see an immediate impact, and Adams did exactly that in a few different ways.

The most subtle was likely during the return on an interception thrown by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

It surely looked like the defense was going to take it back for a touchdown when suddenly Adams came onto the screen and made the tackle at the 1-yard line.

Social Media Is Praising Davante Adams For His Effort

Of course, a wide receiver is usually praised for putting in effort for other aspects like run blocking, but social media didn’t let this tackle go unnoticed.
