Prince Harry dated his change of residency to the US to June 29 last year - the day he and Meghan Markle officially vacated Frogmore Cottage.

Frogmore Cottage remains empty, one year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially left the five-bedroom property.

While King Charles is widely reported to be trying to get Prince Andrew to move into the Windsor residence, a commentator noted the emptiness of the house is "symbolic".

Appearing on the Royal Report programme on Sky News Australia, writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue said: "There is something symbolic about the fact that that house remains empty.

"People are saying this is representative of everything that could have been with Harry and Meghan and how they could have contributed to the Royal Family, but there are also questions whether actually it was ever meant to be.

"So people are saying, or there is some speculation whether the Royal Household could have done more to keep Harry and Meghan on side to prevent the acrimonious split that happened in 2020."

Ms Krakue then referred to the tell-all interviews released by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they bowed out of the working Royal Family and the publication of Prince Harry's tell-all memoir Spare in early 2023.

The decision to share criticism and allegations against the Firm and its members, she said, "would suggest" that the presence of the Sussexes "in the fold could have risked more than having them outside of it and them releasing their version of the story in the way that they see fit in the way they currently have".

The commentator also noted Prince Harry's change of residency from the UK to the US was dated June 29, 2023 in filings on Companies House from his organisation Travalyst.

She said: "It's very interesting that Prince Harry chose to date his official residency in the US as the date he was kicked out of Frogmore Cottage, I think he was trying to send a message and it was very symbolic, but the bigger message here is that it represents everything that could have been and is not and has been lost and potentially represents what actually should probably have never been."

King Charles's latest Highgrove product has hit the shelves just hours after rumours regarding Meghan Markle's latest product sold under American Riviera Orchard were circulating online.

The King has launched his organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey, which costs a whooping £25 for a 350g jar.

According to Highgrove, the latest and "beautifully delicate" honey from the monarch's private estate is "ideal" for toasts and breakfast treats.

Produced by royal bees on the Highgrove Estate, the organic soft-set honey "makes a fantastic gift for food lovers with its distinctive lime flavour".

The product's description explained how the newest honey to be sold by Highgrove is produced from pollen collected by "the myriad of bees who all live in the exclusively commissioned traditional British double-walled beehives on the estate; each hive has its own specific design and took almost a year to construct by hand".

It added: "The bees in the spring work the hedgerows of Highgrove Gardens and, in late June to early July, forage on the avenue of limes."

Meanwhile, the launch follows reports that Meghan Markle is set to include rose wine in the list of products to be sold under her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

The Duchess of Sussex teased the launch of her latest business venture back in March, with only three products promoted since then - strawberry jam, raspberry jam, dog biscuits.

At the time of the strawberry jam's reveal back in April, when Meghan sent 50 jars of it to various influencers online, King Charles's sales for his own version of the product - his Highgrove Organic Strawberry Preserve - saw a huge boost, with the products getting sold out several times in a week.

The monarch sells a range of preserves and savouries through the Highgrove Shop - a place which includes gifts inspired by the King's personal interests and his award-winning garden as well as royal memorabilia.

The money raised from the Highgrove shop goes to charity.

Meanwhile, Meghan's American Riviera Orchard product list is set to include a wide range of products including pet food, jams, dog shampoo, chicken feed and yoga bolsters.
