On Sunday, during the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams game, swiss army knife Taysom Hill suffered a gruesome knee injury.

It came as Hill tried to hit the edge on the left side of the field before his leg would get sandwiched between two Rams defenders.

Of course, when a player gets injured, there’s always hope that it’s nothing serious, but a slow-motion video of the injury suggests otherwise. You can see Hill’s left knee bending the completely wrong way.

It’s unfortunate to see an injury this bad as Hill’s, which seems to be happening more frequently. The notable Lions defense lineman Aiden Hutchinson’s injury that’s sat him out for the season.

Taysom Hill Was Doing It All This Year

Hill was originally drafted as a quarterback, but there is no shortage of what he can do.

This season, he has recorded 18 receptions for 150 yards, 34 rushing attempts for 268 yards, and six touchdowns.

His least played position has been quarterback, completing two of four passes for 21 yards and one interception.

The Saints are likely already out of playoff contention, but losing one of their most dynamic players is still a huge blow to the team.
