The Philadelphia Eagles advanced past the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs Sunday, and that could be largely credited to Saquon Barkley’s play.

On the night, he ran for 119 yards on 25 carries.

However, thousands of people came away pissed off by his actions.

Late in Sunday’s wild-card matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, Barkley had a chance to run to make the final score even worse for the Packers when he got a free run in the open field.

Instead of scoring, Saquon Barkley opted to kneel down instead. He clearly wanted the Eagles to run out the clock and secure the win.

Not everybody felt the same.

One NFL thinks his actions were quite suspicious and almost scripted as he purposely failed to score a touchdown.

“It doesn’t get more scripted than this. This was your Saquon Barkley touchdown, but the NFL made sure Saquon Barkley could not score a TD tonight,” the post stated.

Another account pointed out how so much money changed hands because of his refusal to score.

“There needs to be a study done on the amount of money that changed hands because of this Saquon Barkley slide,” the caption read.

Can Saquon Barkley Push The Eagles Deeper Into The Postseason?

In the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon, Barkley finished the contest with 119 yards on 25 carries and helped the Eagles advance to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.

This was his first taste of playoff action.

He has been dynamic all year long.

Barkley has the raw talent to put the Eagles deeper into the postseason, and we could very well see them in New Orleans.
