NFL fans noticed the same thing about Mike Williams’ voice following the Pittsburgh Steelers’ monumental road win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

Mike Williams caught the game-winning 32-yard touchdown in the Steelers’ 28-27 win over Washington, which moved the AFC North leaders to 7-2 on the season. The Steelers have won four in a row and are now 3-0 in the Russell Wilson era.

The Steelers’ X/Twitter account shared a hilarious video of a pumped-up Williams sharing the following message after the game. Pay close attention to Williams’ voice, and then you’ll see where we’re going with this:

NFL fans were stunned to learn by what Mike Williams’ voice sounded like in this clip:

It’s worth noting that this isn’t Mike Williams’ actual voice. As several other fans noticed, it was only high-pitched here because he was (understandably) super excited. Hre’s what his normal voice sounds like.

Following a disappointing stint with the New York Jets, Williams was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick. The last laugh goes to Williams, who joins a playoff contending team while the Jets sit at 3-7 following an ugly loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Mike Williams Could Be The Final Piece For Steelers

The Steelers looked for a No. 2 wide receiver after trading Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers in the offseason. They pursued Brandon Aiyuk before he signed a contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers, leaving GM Omar Khan with few options on the trade market.

Russell Wilson has solved the Steelers’ search for a quarterback. With Williams complementing No. 1 WR George Pickens, the Steelers have the pieces to compete for a Super Bowl.
