PERRIE EDWARDS is putting off her wedding to Alex Oxlade Chamberlain – because she’s too busy working on the release of her debut album.

The singer, who got engaged to the footballer in 2022 and has a young son, Axel, said: “I feel like we’ve already planned it.

“In our minds we know and we talk about it a lot – Alex more so than me actually – which is really cute because he wants it to pop off.

“He wants a party, a performer, he wants it to be a big thing.

“I’m like, I know who I want as bridesmaids and this and that. It’s all kind of set in stone but we haven’t actually planned it yet.

“There’s a lot going on in my life right now, I’ve got so much. We’ve said about waiting for Axel to be older and then he can be a pageboy or whatever. It makes more sense.”

Perrie, whose debut solo single Forget About Us got to No10 in the charts, said she is still putting the finishing touches to the record.

The Little Mix star added on Australian radio: “I’m annoying but I’m still working on things.

“You get one chance and it has to be perfect. I feel like it is done but there’s little tweaks I want to do still.

“I will get there, it will definitely be pre-order this year I think.”

“September 13 will be a time for reflection and celebration and a moment to uplift the beauty and brilliance of our community.

Swamp fever

DREAMWORKS studios have confirmed that Shrek 5 is happening and will be out in 2026.

Original cast members Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy will return to voice Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey.

Eddie also revealed there are plans for Donkey to have his own film.

When quizzed on Heart FM about how he got his muscles, the actor revealed it was all down to burgers and chips.

He added: “It was honestly just a lot of weightlifting.

“And then the closer we got to filming we put in more cardio. But I literally had anything that I could have ever wanted.”

It sounds like the dream diet to me.

Jon’s cash savvy

S CLUB’s Jon Lee said he earned so much with the band during their heyday he could have retired years ago.

He revealed: “The last year has been a good year. A great year, actually, because of the S Club reunion tour last October.

“The most I earned from S Club was the last couple of years in about 2002 or 2003, when we did a tour and a movie and another TV series.

“I can’t give you precise figures, but it was enough to buy four flats with no mortgages in South London by the time I was 21, which I still make a rental income from today.

“I bought them for about £120,000 each and they must be worth nearer £300,000 each now.

“Each one has probably given me over £100,000 in rent over the 20 years as well, so it’s been a great investment for me.”

I can reveal the Houdini singer is planning to jump off her giant main stage and walk almost the full length of the crowd to get to a smaller second stage at the back of the arena, just like Adele.

The move has been inspired by her Glastonbury performance last month which also saw her jump down into the crowd.

A source said: “Dua still can’t believe she gets to headline Wembley Stadium.

“She wants to make it feel like a giant disco and make sure everyone has the best seat in the house.

“Walking through the crowd during one of her songs allows her to feel intimate with her fans while performing to 80,000 of them.”

Adele, eat your heart out.

Dolls reunion hopes

NICOLE SCHERZINGER and The Pussycat Dolls may have constantly locked horns over the years but the former X Factor judge isn’t ruling out a reunion.

She said of burying the hatchet and hitting the road together: “I love the Pussycat Dolls. So, I always say, never say never. I’m obviously in a different place in my life right now, but you never know what the future holds.”

The group reunited in 2020 for comeback single React and were set for a tour before Covid.

By the end of the pandemic reports were rife the girls were at war behind the scenes and the tour was axed.

My oh my, it’s Kylie’s new banger

KYLIE MINOGUE will today release her new song, called My Oh My.

The track, which is a classic Kylie pop banger, was created by her and Norwegian songwriter Ina Wroldsen, who masterminded comeback hit Padam Padam.

My Oh My features Tove Lo and Bebe Rexha and is the surest sign yet Kylie is continuing to make her mark on the US after spending her career trying to break the American market.

A source said: “Since the success of Padam and her last album Tension, Kylie has been inundated with offers from some of the biggest artists in the world. A new album is in the works but not before a special repackaged version of Tension, with a flurry of new tracks with some huge collaborators.

“Kylie plans to debut the song live at her huge British Summer Time gig in Hyde Park on Saturday.”

Closer to home, we previously revealed that Kylie has also been in the recording studio with British hitmaker Joel Corry and is tipped to announce a huge tour next year.
