The Florida Gators had a terrible season opener in front of their fans on Saturday.
The unranked team had the unfortunate task of welcoming the Miami Hurricanes to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and the road team stomped all over their couch during this contest.
The Gators suffered an ugly 41–17 loss at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
The Hurricanes, who started the season ranked No. 19 in the country, were led by senior quarterback Cam Ward, who finished with 385 yards passing and three touchdowns.
As the Gators were being embarrassed on the field, a photo resurfaced online of a young Florida Gators female fan in the stands wearing a strapless shirt with the word “Chomp” on it.
Right behind her was an older man who was seriously close to her to the point it looked like he was shooting his shot.

Many fans took to the comment section to make jokes about the Florida Gators fan, while others thought that the older man looked like Stan Lee, the comic book writer and editor who passed away in 2018.
