Gino D’Acampo is currently facing several accusations of misconduct spanning 12 years – including the use of sexual and aggressive language while working across different television shows.

The once-popular This Morning chef, who has also shared the screen with Gordon Ramsay and Fred Siriex, has reportedly told friends he is innocent and feels “betrayed” by the reports.

However, just three years ago, the 48-year-old boasted about how dangerous his behaviour was.

Speaking to The Sun, Gino said: “There is a fine line on television and I think I walk the line. I’ve been walking that fine line for the last ten to 15 years.

“It’s a very dangerous way the way I do it.”

Gino, who is well known for making sexual innuendos when on camera, even went on to reveal why he is able to get away with his questionable conduct and explained why he’d never been cancelled after nearly two decades on our screens.

“But I can get away with the accent and because I’m Gino and everybody knows me for a long time, I can get away with many things that someone else could not get away with it.

“What they should do is instead of fighting the cancel culture is the way I do it: ‘I don’t care what you’ve got to say. That’s what I think. That’s the way I live my life.’”

With the current accusations threatening to derail the Italian-born chef’s career, Gino is fighting back and insists that he is innocent and still believes he can continue to have a career.

A source told Daily Mail, Gino has vowed “never to work with ITV again”, and he is set to “jet to the US later next week to work on a TV project.”

Gino has denied all allegations of misconduct against him after an ITV News exposé. One woman, known under the pseudonym Hannah, claimed Gino told her he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter.”

She further claimed: “I remember a ripple of laughter,” adding other people around “looked nervously into their cups of tea”.

Gino’s legal team released a statement in response to that claim which read: “This allegation from almost 15 years ago has never, until now via a media request, been raised or put to Mr D’Acampo. He does not recall it, nor accept that it happened.”
