Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis has disclosed the team’s plans regarding star defensive end Maxx Crosby.

The Pro Bowler has been the subject of rife trade rumors heading into the November 5 deadline. However, any chatter over a move can now be shut down as Davis has made it clear that the 27-year-old is unavailable.

The Raiders owner emailed ESPN this weekend, relaying as much to the network as he told them there’s no chance of a deal involving Crosby.

“We’re Not Trading Maxx Crosby,” he wrote in the email. “Before Or After The Trade Deadline!!!”

Maxx Crosby Wants To Stay Put

While the Raiders aren’t looking to let Crosby go, other teams have been weighing up moves that could at least get the AFC outfit to consider a trade.

Still, an NFL insider has told The Worldwide Leader in Sports that “it would be beyond shocking” if the two-time Second-Team All-Pro left the Raiders before the deadline.

Richard Seymour, the team’s new minority stakeholder, has also claimed he doesn’t see “heartbeat of our team” being traded.

“If I’m the Lions, I want to come get Maxx Crosby too,” he said on ‘The Adam Schefter Podcast.’ “Why wouldn’t they? He’s the heartbeat of our team. But that would be Mark Davis’ decision, and I don’t see him making that decision to trade away Maxx Crosby.”

For his part, Crosby has indicated he would prefer to remain in Vegas amid the rumors.

“I’m sitting here innocently and just doing what I do, and I feel like I got to like address it with my teammates,” he offered during his ‘The Rush With Maxx Crosby’ podcast. “I’m like, ‘I’m not trying to leave.’

“I don’t have 100 percent control and all that, but I want to be here. I want to be silver and black. I’ll say it loud and f**king clear: I want to be a Raider. I’ve said that over and over and over again.”
