Social media detectives have put together compelling video evidence that destroys the whole “Tom Brady owns Patrick Mahomes” notion.
But if there’s one active NFL player who can realistically challenge Brady for the “GOAT” title, it’s Mahomes. The former won his first three Super Bowls before his 28th birthday. Mahomes won his third Super Bowl shortly after his 28th birthday.
And if stats are your argument? Last year, Mahomes became the fastest quarterback to reach 25,000 career passing yards and 200 passing touchdowns. So depending on how long he plays, Mahomes could very well break Brady’s passing records.
Many folks on Tom Brady’s side like to argue that he had Mahomes’ number. The two split their six head-to-head meetings, but the Pro-Brady team points out that he was 2-0 against Mahomes in the playoffs: The 2018 AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl 55.
Does that mean Tom Brady “owned” Mahomes during their short but sweet on-field rivalry? Well, let’s just say the @NotWahomes X/Twitter account put together a pair of compelling reels to fight back against the idea of TB12 owning Mahomes.

Here are some more strong objections to the idea of Tom Brady “dominating” Patrick Mahomes whenever they faced:
At any rate, we’ll have to see how Patrick Mahomes fares over the next seven or so years before deciding if he’s the consensus “GOAT” over Brady.
