Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse got her wires slightly crossed as her former co-star shared some sweet festive news.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell left her former co-star Oti Mabuse “excited” as she shared a post about “babies”.

Dianne was cosying up with her Strictly partner and beau Joe Sugg for the festive season when she took to Instagram to share a series of intimate family snaps, along with the caption: “Boyfriend butterflies brothers and babies.”

In a series of snaps, she posed with boyfriend Joe who rocked a flat cap and woollen blazer, while Dianne let her fiery red hair flow free in a brown fleece jacket. The pair also posed with their nieces Ottilie and Novie, who are the daughters of Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes.

Dianne is also aunty to nephew Roman Guiseppe Buswell and niece Zofia Buswell. But the pair don’t have any children of their own.

But fans – and Oti – thought the caption could be hinting at Dianne having a baby on the way.

he laughed in the comments section: “Not me reading babies and getting excited!” – with Dianne replying with two cry-laughing emojis.

Other fans echoed the sentiment as one wrote: “Same, I was like the Strictly fam is growing!” and someone else joked: “No it was me getting excited but apparently not! They are just a great couple.”

Joe has already made comments about welcoming children with Dianne, leaving Strictly fans fit to burst. On the Strictly 20th anniversary special, he declared: “The Quickstep at Blackpool was my favourite dance for many reasons. I had my family come up to watch, more importantly my nan who danced there when she was younger.

“That’ll be the sort of video clip we show our great, great grandchildren.” Dianne agreed: “Yes!”

As Joe joked: “Because we’re both living to 150.”
