Britney Spears has opened up about ‘darker’ things being done to her by ‘enemies’ close to the pop star, as she reflected on a viral video.

The Toxic hitmaker, 41, shared the clip to her Instagram Stories, showing a young girl baking with two older girls, who then crack eggs open on her forehead and fall apart laughing.

Britney shared her thoughts on the video, saying that without sound the situation looked much ‘darker’.

She recalled facing ‘similar things’ which caused her to see the clip differently and admitted to being ‘extremely sensitive’ to bullying.

The mother-of-two wrote: ‘I’m not complaining about this video… it’s actually really cute but with no sound it has a different effect!!!

‘For me, it feels darker… similar things have been done to me so I look at this with different eyes!!!’

Britney added: ‘Most of my inner conflict with people is knowing the enemy is right in front of me but I kept them because I loved them!!!

‘I’m extremely sensitive to anybody laughing at someone or bullying in any way!!!’

She then hinted that she would be sharing more of her personal struggles publicly one day, a month before her tell-all memoir is due to be released.

She said: ‘There’s so much I’ve kept private that’s gone on with me personally and maybe one day I can let people know … until then, there’s 3 sides to every story!!!

‘Your side, my side and the truth!!! The child within is the trust, the girl in the middle is the truth …. watch it NOW with no sound!!!’

Britney has only recently returned to Instagram after she deleted her account last week after calling out fans for greeting her in public.

The songstress shared a slew of photos dancing in her underwear while the caption seemed to call out people who dared to approach her while she is out in a public space.

She wrote: ‘When people say everywhere I go…’We missed you we missed you’ I’m like so enthralled that I’m so relatable.

‘You can speak to me even when you’re not spoken to…because I CARE,’ and added  a middle finger emoji for good measure.

She ended it: ‘I mean … should I not let you guys miss saying hi and disturb the peace.’

Britney’s latest post comes after it was revealed her estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, has been confirmed for the new series of Dancing With The Stars.

Britney has accused her sister of doing ‘nothing’ to help her during her conservatorship, which was terminated in November 2021 after 13 years.

In January, Jamie Lynn talked candidly about being eclipsed by her big sister’s stardom, saying in one headline-grabbing sound-bite: ‘I’m so proud of her, love her to death but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.’

Another major instigator of one of their fallout was Jamie Lynn’s tell-all memoir, in which she accused the singer of once seizing a knife and locking herself in a room with her because she ‘didn’t feel safe’.

At the time, Britney slammed her sibling for spreading ‘crazy lies’ about her in the book, and a public war of words raged between the pair.

Last month, Britney’s now-estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences after a 14-month-long marriage.

After the news broke, Britney spoke up and admitted she was ‘a little shocked’ by the divorce.

Since then, the pair have been enmeshed in a bitter divorce battle after Sam made dramatic claims of infidelity.

He also stated that she had attacked him a number of times during their seven years together.

Due to an iron-clad prenup in Britney’s favor, Sam will not be getting a huge payday.

However, he requested that the songstress be made to pay spousal support, and to cover his legal fees and court costs following their divorce.

Britney is  soon to be relieved of another financial burden, however – monthly child support payments for her soon to be 18-year-old son Sean (with 17-year-old Jayden following suit soon). She shares custody with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

A source told the DailyMail.com that the princess of pop is still more than happy to support her sons, but she reportedly didn’t approve of her money lining her ex-husband’s pockets.

‘Britney is happy to help Sean and Jayden. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for her sons,’ the insider revealed, adding, ‘But this would go directly to them after they turn 18 instead of Kevin.’

In spite of the stress from her exes, the petite vocal powerhouse happily declared herself ‘single as f***‘- in another recent Instagram video — that she ultimately chose to delete.

Arguably one of the most famous pop stars decades after her career initially began, Britney’s highly anticipated memoir has already broken a record.
