Britney Spears revealed that she cut people out of her life due to ‘mind games’ in a candid Instagram post uploaded on Saturday.

The Baby One More Time songstress, 42 – who recently penned a birthday tribute to her sons Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18 – also included throwback photos while reflecting on ‘self identity’ and ‘coming full circle.’

She typed out to her 42 million followers, ‘Reposting pics, but they look identical to the last video posted!!!’

‘Images of me last year that make sense and look similar to this year!!!’ Britney further explained. ‘I think it’s good for self identity, self awareness and self esteem.’

The star – whose divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized earlier this year in May – expressed, ‘I can’t tell you how many people I’ve split from this past year because of mind games…’

In conclusion, Spears wrote, ‘So I’m coming full circle and these 3 pics were the main ones that were identical in looks as my recent gold dress… I like for things to make sense in this crazy world.’

In the post, Britney shared identical selfies as she posed outside underneath a shady tree that shielded her from the bright sunshine.

The pop icon wore a short-sleeved, white shirt and her blonde locks were styled into a half up do.

Another throwback snap showed Spears posing topless wearing a pair of white bikini bottoms and holding a rose in her right hand.

Her post comes shortly after her ex-husband, Sam, was seen with a mystery blonde at a park in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Asghari filed for divorce from the Toxic hitmaker last year in August after 14 months of marriage. The divorce was officially finalized in May when the pair reached a settlement.

During the actor’s recent outing, he got handsy with his female companion, smacking her butt at one point, per TMZ.

According to the outlet, the Iranian-American model also placed his hand on the woman’s back while they strolled with the dog Britney gifted him after their engagement in 2021.

Just two months ago Sam told Us Weekly he was focusing on his career.

He joked, ‘Right now, I’m dating a very high-maintenance girl and, you know, I have to get her nails done and take her to the dog park and feed her good food and get her really nice treats.’

‘That is what I’m focused on at the moment. And [a] career is something that’s going to require 100 percent of your time, and Im really putting all that effort and putting all of my mindset towards acting… [and my] producing career.’

He added, ‘It deserves that type of work ethic, and watching my sisters do such an amazing thing at pursuing their dreams makes me inspired.’

‘Watching them work 100 percent makes me realize it’s going to take 100-and-something percent to reach my goals.’

Sam emphasized, ‘My goals are always the opposite of my personality. That’s gonna require a lot of time, so I’m not really focusing on [dating] at the moment.’

Meanwhile, Britney has been in an on-and-off relationship with Paul Soliz, whom she met while he was doing maintenance work at her home.

Just two months ago Sam told Us Weekly he was focusing on his career; seen earlier this month in L.A.

In a since-deleted Instagram post in July, Spears captioned she was ‘Single as f***!!!’ and declared, ‘I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!’

That same month, Britney admitted that she may have had ‘a false confidence’ after Sam Asghari divorce.

At the time, she uploaded a clip to her main Instagram page that had originally been posted back in September 2023.

She then opened up to her fans and wrote, ‘I guess I need to brace myself and slow down and recap the past year because I think I had a false confidence after my divorce!!!’

‘Although I did post some of my best work with “Ray of Light” and “I’m Addicted” by Madonna !!! There was a lot of WTF moments!!!’

Spears continued, ‘Trust me I know we’re all human and make mistakes !!! I literally need to go back and adjust and possibly do a couple more therapy sessions!!!’

In conclusion, the star apologized to her fans and followers ‘for not being perfect and I will try and get confidence and consistency back like I used to have!!!’

The Princess of Pop was slated to cease paying child support to Federline when her youngest son turned 18 – but it was recently revealed that she may have to continue to make payments until he graduates high school later this year, per People.

Sean turned 19 on Saturday and only two days earlier, his younger brother Jayden celebrated his 18th birthday on September 12.

In one image included in the post, Britney could be seen with her two boys when they were younger – and the group could be seen transfixed by something high in the night sky.
