The women’s match between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano provided the most entertainment by far, with the bout turning into a scrappy affair.


Serrano suffered a nasty gash above her eye, with photos of the gruesome wound trending on social media after her controversial loss. However, ring girl Sydney Thomas, though in the background, stole the spotlight from a certain angle.
