This Morning viewers have criticised Cat Deeley’s “inappropriate” behaviour on the popular daytime show. Many viewers were left up in arms after watching the TV star jiggle around in a swimming costume on-air.

As the programme kicked off on Tuesday (10 December), Ben Shephard reminded his co-host that she’d left behind a gift from Josie Gibson at the Christmas Party. Rather smitten with the present, Ben said: “Here you go, I retrieved it for you.”

Cat held up the tiny swimsuit that had his face printed on to it, telling him: “I was leaving that behind on purpose,” but adding “i’ll pop it on later.” True to her word, she returned after the break wearing the costume over her clothes.

However, not all viewers saw the humour in the situation as they took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to criticise the TV star. One person wrote: “Surely, this is inappropriate and suggestive behaviour from Cat?” reports the Mirror.

Another complained: “#thismorning @thismorning I have just chucked my breakfast up looking at that awful bikini.” A third echoed: “These two are just c*** at this job they have no personality and make me cringe when they try to be funny.. get rid asap! #ThisMorning.”

While a fourth agreed: “Even when Cat tries to do a ‘funny bit’ it comes off clunky, forced and cringe #ThisMorning.”

Fortunately, some viewers did understand the TV personality’s sense of humour. “Just as well that Ben hasn’t got a beard! #thismorning,” one viewer quipped, while another joined in: “Got to give Cat credit there, that was brave. #ThisMorning.”

A third shared their amusement: “Cat, so funny and Ben’s right the nose is weird #ThisMorning.” Meanwhile, a fourth commended: “Fair play to Cat for taking the p***! #thismorning.”

After a swift ad break, the pair were back on air, and Ben questioned Cat: “Are you feeling comfortable?” Clutching her crimson velvet jacket closed, Cat replied: “Yeah, I’m feeling quite comfortable.”

There was a momentary pause before she theatrically opened her blazer and declared: “It’s nice to have another layer on,” unveiling a swimsuit emblazoned with Ben’s face.

Barry White’s hit song, Feels So Good, began to play as Cat began to jig around as she completely removed her jacket during a sexy dance routine.

Ben laughter filled the studio as Cat unleashed more moves, shedding her jacket in a sultry dance. Ben chuckled at the sight, noting: “There he is, the full range of Ben’s attire is available in every really cheap shop online.”

Cat cheekily retorted, “Who needs fragrance when you got a body like that.” Ben joined in, laughingly lamenting, “It’s the position of the face, it’s that my nose has never looked so big,” as Cat playfully rubbed her stomach where his oversized nose appeared.”
