KATY Perry has fans begging her to release new music after she shared a video teasing a new album.

Katy, 39, posted a spooky video teasing a Halloween performance but fans think she was promoting something else in the clip as well.
The video showed various aspects of the Dark Horse singer’s stage show.
While she was seen on stage at various points, the TV personality mostly sat in the makeup chair preparing for the show.
As the video went on, viewers got a look at icons from Katy’s performance career including the shark she featured on stage with her during her Super Bowl Half Time performance and other iconic figures.
At one point, fans caught a glimpse of a ghost holding a sign that reads: “KP6.”
Many took it as a sign that she’s planning to release new music.
Others, meanwhile, simply pleaded with her to release an album.
“New album now!!!” one person commented.
A second fan wrote: “KP6 let’s gooooo.”
“KP6 IS COMING,” a third commenter speculated.
Someone else asked: “WHERE [IS] KP6???????!?!?!!!!”
“KP6 OMG,” a fifth fan reacted with.
DROPPING HINTS
This isn’t the first time Katy has dropped a hint that she’s releasing new music.
Back in August, she teased plans to release new tracks during a concert in Las Vegas.
Video taken by a fan began circulating on X – formerly known as Twitter, showing Katy hyping fans up while on the stage.
She was wearing a sequined cut-out gown as she told the crowd: “Now, if you can’t love me at my Witness or Smile era, then you can’t love me at my KP6 era.”
The singer appeared to be referencing previous albums, which she released in 2017 and 2020 respectively.
Katy fans responded the to clip, with one writing: “MY HEART IS SO HAPPY KNOWING KP6 IS ON THE WAY THANK YOU SO MUCH.”
“Oh she spill the tea,” a second wrote.
A third chimed in: “Oh Katy’s making a highly successful comeback with KP6.”
SPARKING SPECULATION
Earlier that same month, fans spotted another massive clue that new music was coming.
The Teenage Dream singer raised some eyebrows after she posted pics of her on the set of Good Morning America.
In the Instagram pics, Katy posed in a body-hugging blue sequined dress, high heels, and a full face of makeup.
She had her dark hair pulled back in a sleek bun.
Katy posed in front of a wall showing a photo of her in one photo and a rose curtain in the others.
She urged her followers to tune into the morning show for her appearance.
It wasn’t that that left folks buzzing, however, it was Katy’s accessories.
Katy was wearing a large butterfly ring on her left hand in the pic.
“Wait the butterfly ring [insert butterfly emoji] ?????” one person noted in the comments.
“I see the butterfly ring,” another responded.
“Why is there a butterfly ring mom?” a third person wrote.
“Butterflies are very interesting,” someone else wrote.
The butterfly is incredibly significant to Katy, who previously suggested it’s a symbol of a new era.
