Several took to the comments section underneath the snap, saying Chris was blessed with ‘good genes’.
‘Wow! Your mum looks more like your sister! Good genes!’ one wrote.
Meanwhile, others said they were keen to meet the Hemsworth patriarch, Craig.
One fan also pointed out that Chris’s own children, daughter India-Rose, and twins Tristan and Sasha, had hit the gene pool lottery, writing: ‘Look how cute your parents are. No wonder all of your kids are good looking’.
Chris was seen cheering on sporting stars from the grandstand at Gold Coast’s Commonwealth Games.
The Thor star, 34, treated his parents to unrestricted views of the 100m finals as he took to Instagram with the sweet family snap.
Also joining the clan was Emery Surfboards founder and friend Al Emery.
Chris wore his signature Emery Surfboards black cap and displayed a rugged beard and mustache on his face.
The father-of-three cut a casual figure at the event, wearing a plain white T-shirt and jeans as he cheered on Australian athletes with a flag.
His mother rolled her eyes when Chris joked: ‘Men’s 100m finale, here we are… a couple of last-minute dropouts unfortunately, but we have a few replacements.’
It come after Chris took his first-born and only daughter, India-Rose, five, to enjoy the action at Day 3 of the Commonwealth Games on Saturday.
Seated in the reserved press section, his daughter sat on his lap and at one point gave her a tender kiss on her head.
Meanwhile Chris’s wife Elsa was in Sydney on a working trip, with the couple’s twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, three.
Chris and Elsa reside in Byron Bay, a one-hour commute from the Games held on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
The pair, who wed in 2010, have recently hosted famous pal Matt Damon and his family over the past few weeks in the coastal town.
