ALISON Hammond has given a rare insight into her relationship with her 27-year-old toyboy masseuse David Putman.

The This Morning star, 49, has broken her silence on her romance and described their partnership as a “jigsaw”.

In a new interview, she dismisses their 22-year age difference and insists David is “mature and sensible” – unlike herself.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping UK, Alison says: “I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference.

“But honestly, when we see the word ‘toyboy’ written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all.

“Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me, ‘We get it now.’”

Alison adds: “He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not.

“And the things he says to me…they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.”

Alison has been dating Russian masseuse David since December 2023.

The two reportedly met when Alison had booked for a £150 massage therapy session with David and they quickly hit it off.

The Great British Bake Off host has held back on spilling the beans about their relationship but she did give a small insight in August.

Alison told the duo: “I’m dating, I’m dating!

“It’s more difficult, he is more verbal now that he is older. He’ll want to know who this person is and he’ll want to meet them.

“It’s a lot harder. He’ll wanna know that this guy is treating me well.”

Without name-checking David, she added: “The person who I am seeing at the moment, he is on his Instagram and he is like, ‘Yeah, I like him, he’s not too in your face’. Aiden is on it.”

Alison has spoken further about Aiden in her interview with Good Housekeeping and described him as a “gentleman”.

“If you could feel the way my son loves me, it’s magical,” she tells the publication.

“He’s grown into such a gentleman. He helps me so much, doing things around the house.

“He gives really good advice and because he’s Gen Z, he has his finger on the pulse and tells me what’s cool.

“He’s the yin to my yang; he’s like me, but a calmer version. I’m all, ‘Woo-hoo’ and he’s more, ‘Mum, chill’.”

Alison added: “He doesn’t try to rein me in, though. He wouldn’t try to change me because, well, why mess with perfection?”
