There was once upon a time when fans screamed to the high heavens for the Detroit Lions to be taken off their regular showing on Thanksgiving.
The team had been bad for years. Despite how they look now, the franchise has still only been to the postseason four times since the end of the 1999 season.
Things have changed quite a bit for the Detroit Lions, as they are now Super Bowl contenders.
More attention on the team means others will benefit, and that leads us to Lions cheerleader Emily Fabrizio.
She is snatching up all the attention on social media. The fitness influencer is currently in her second year as an NFL cheerleader.
“Growing up I always dreamed of becoming a professional dancer, but at the time I didn’t know what that’d look like for me,” Fabrizio said before her rookie season with the Lions. “I grew up as a studio dancer and then transitioned into joining my college team.”

On Thursday, the Detroit Lions will get set to face the Chicago Bears at Ford Field on Thanksgiving.
Emily Fabrizio will be broadcast to many more millions of people as families sit around the table to enjoy the day.

The Detroit Lions Are Looking Like A Frightening Team
The Lions franchise won four NFL Championship Games between 1935 and 1957.
It would take them until 1991 to experience another postseason victory. It would then take until the 2023 season for them to get another one.
Now, the Detroit Lions are no longer looking like a joke and appear to be headed for another long playoff run that may result in a Super Bowl appearance.
The team is on a nine-game winning streak and has shown that it can win in any way. Not even Jared Goff’s five interceptions can stop them.
The Lions are for real.
