Social media detectives noticed Buffalo Bills star Von Miller wearing something unique on the sidelines during Thursday night’s road game against the Miami Dolphins.

Von Miller was one of the best players on Thursday night, recording one sack in the Bills’ 31-10 blowout victory over Miami. After recording zero sacks in 12 games a year ago, the two-time Super bowl champion now has two sacks in as many games to begin the season.

His dominance of the Dolphins’ offensive line wasn’t the only Miller talking point on Thursday night. The 35-year-old also had social media buzzing after folks noticed him wearing an autographed Bills hat on the sideline during the game:

Von Miller is in the third season of a six-year, $120 million contract he signed with Buffalo in the 2022 offseason. He got off to a strong start that year, recording eight sacks in 11 games before unfortunately suffering a season-ending ACL tear in the Bills’ Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

The Buffalo defense wasn’t the same without Von Miller in 2022, and they were soundly defeated 27-10 by the Cincinnati Bengals at home in the Divisional Round. Leonard Floyd, who led the Bills with 10.5 sacks in 2023, left for the San Francisco 49ers in free agency.

A Healthy Von Miller Changes Everything For The Bills

Though Buffalo has consistently churned out a championship-caliber defense under head coach Sean McDermott, the lack of game-changing pass-rushers has been a key factor in their lack of postseason success.

The Bills handed Miller that lucrative deal in 2022 free agency knowing he could be the final piece of a championship puzzle. He led the Denver Broncos to a Super Bowl 50 championship in the 2015 season and the helped the Rams to a Super Bowl 56 title after coming over in a trade deadline deal.

As we’ve seen over the first two games, a healthy Von Miller can change everything and take the Bills over the top once and for all.
