One of the world’s most beloved singers is reportedly a candidate to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next year.
Super Bowl 59 will be played at the New Orleans Saints’ home venue, the Caesars Superdome, on Feb. 9, 2025. Details on the Super Bowl halftime show, including the headliner, are usually announced in September.
According to Gambling.com, Miley Cyrus is the early front-runner to host next year’s show at +137.5 (a probability of 42.1 percent). Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has the second-best odds at +200 (33.3 percent).
Billie Eilish (+300, 25 percent), Dua Lipa (+400, 20 percent), and Jay-Z (+450, 18.2 percent) round out the top five. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, who performed at Super Bowl 48 a decade ago, are listed at +1200 (7.7 percent).

Usher headlined the Super Bowl halftime show this past February at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri were among the special guests who also performed.
Miley Cyrus was widely mentioned as a possible candidate to headline the Super Bowl 58 halftime show a year ago, but that obviously never came to fruition. She’s among the world’s most prominent musicians that hasn’t yet performed on the Super Bowl stage, so perhaps it’s only a matter of time until she gets the call.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl champions, having become the first team to win consecutive Lombardi Trophies in 19 years. Now, they’re aiming to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls in NFL history.
2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show Saw A Record Audience
Usher’s performance drew 129.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched SB halftime show ever.
SB halftime shows easily draw well over 100 million viewers, significantly increasing the viewership for the big game itself. Now, we wait and see who will get the honors of gracing the Caesars Superdome stage in seven months.
