Taylor Swift’s team has a bone to pick with the National Football League.

The 2024 NFL season got underway on Thursday night as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Baltimore Ravens.

This past week, several outlets reported Swift would be at Travis Kelce’s NFL season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

The main report came from The Athletic, confirming Taylor Swift’s attendance and citing “a source briefed on the security arrangements at Arrowhead Stadium.”

The Athletic’s Nate Taylor and Dianna Russini report also mentioned Swift’s two-month tour break after her European leg ended in August, which means she will likely be at several games before things kick back up again.

Taylor Swift’s team was not happy about this and is reportedly “steaming” with the news leaking, according to Page Six.

“She has presidential-level security,” says Page Six’s source. “After Austria, her security firm is not too happy that her whereabouts are out.”

Taylor Swift Was Forced To Cancel Shows Due To Terror Threats

The biggest issue for Taylor Swift being leaked out by the NFL media showing up prior to Week One was the frightening issue where the CIA was made aware of threats against her, and she was forced to cancel three shows in Austria.

Swift said the cancellation of her Vienna tour dates was over an attacking threat that filled her with “a new sense of fear.”

Three concerts were canceled in the Austrian capital in August as three people were arrested in connection with allegedly planning attacks.

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter finished the European leg of her Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London.

In a post on Instagram, Swift wrote: “Having our Vienna shows canceled was devastating.

“But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.

“I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together.”
