Travis Kelce had another quiet day at the office for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday – and fans are convinced it’s because Taylor Swift is no longer around.
The Chiefs bounced back from last weekend’s defeat at the Denver Broncos with a 21-14 win over the Dolphins in Germany, where they contested the first of two international fixtures taking place there over the next seven days.
Though despite the victory, Kelce failed to live up to his typically-high standards for a second straight week, with the Kansas City tight end registering just three catches on four targets for 14 yards after struggling in Denver last Sunday.
Coincidentally, Swift did not turn up to either of those games after previously attending four of the Chiefs’ last five fixtures to cheer on her new boyfriend.
Fans are therefore adamant that Kelce can no longer perform at his best without the pop sensation in attendance, taking to X to share their theories.

Another said: ‘Travis Kelce ain’t s*** without Taylor swift I see’.
Betting site BetMGM also highlighted the incredible stats which indicate Kelce does indeed perform better with Swift in the stands.
They posted: ‘Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift in attendance: 108 yards per game – Travis Kelce without Taylor Swift in attendance: 41 yards per game’.
Another fan commented: ‘I think we officially have enough data points to discuss Travis Kelce output with and without Taylor Swift at the game.’
A fourth said: ‘Let me find out Travis Kelce can’t perform without Taylor Swift there.’
While one joked: ‘I bet Taylor Swift’s next song is either going to be entitled incompetence or inconsistency, because that is describing Travis Kelce’s football season without her at a game’.
Swift first rocked up at Arrowhead to watch Kelce take on the Chicago Bears on September 24 after it was confirmed that the pair were indeed dating.
She was then in attendance at MetLife Stadium for his game against the New York Jets on October 1, before returning to Arrowhead on two separate occasions last month.
However, the singer and songwriter is now set to head on her Eras Tour, which kicks off in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday.
Swift is therefore unlikely to be at another Chiefs game until she wraps up the Brazilian leg of her tour in Sao Paulo at the end of the month – which may come as bad news to Kansas City fans given the aforementioned stats.
